around the stoma, while the bag is attached to the baseplate using a locking mechanism.

The Hydrocolloid baseplate is  attached to the skin using an adhesive. It's designed for stoma that are flush with the skin or have a slightly retracted appearance. The convex shape helps push the stoma out, reducing the risk of leakage.
